So for my final Blog Post about birth charts, I've decided to use an actual example. I'm using mine! In order to calculate your birth chart, you must know the month, day, and year you were born, the time (and also if it was AM or PM), and where (city, state, Country). Rising Sign is in Scorpio

My Genius Experience!

Genius Hour has been one of my favorite projects of this year! I got to choose my own topic about something I was really interested in with no limitations and i wasn't being told what to do or how to do it!

My favorite part about this project was not only learning new things about Astrology, but being able to share it with my teacher, classmates, and others interested to read. My favorite thing about my topic was being able to dig deeper into myself. My least favorite thing about this project was not being able to record everything because of time management. My least favorite thing about my topic was actually nothing! I enjoyed the project the whole way through!

The most important thing I learned in this Genius experience was that researching takes time, but with patience you can discover great results! I'm very excited and happy with what I've learned and i can't wait to share during my presentations!

Ascendants and Mid-heavens

There are just two more things missing from the birth chart. The last thing I would like the explain about a birth chart are the two things that have a big impact on your personality, but aren't planets. An Ascendant and A Mid-heaven.

The Ascendant, also known as a "Rising Sign," is the outer personality. This is how we mask ourselves. Your Ascendant is how you act in public or around those who aren't close to you. This is how others see you. Your "first impression,' basically. This also determines how you act, overall. Both your Sun sign and your Rising have an impact on your main personality.

The Mid-heaven is pretty simple. It's an easy explanation, but it's also one of the most important roles in our birth chart. Your Mid-heaven traditionally indicates your career, status, aim in life, public reputation, and your life goal.

Planets with a Personality! (Part 2/2)

Jupiter represents power, good luck, and self-confidence. Since Jupiter is the biggest of the planets, it also represents wealth, honor, and glory. Your Jupiter determines how you will handle money, how generous you are, how you determined you are, and how you like to view life and take it on.









Saturn represents wise-men, toughness, and discipline. Your Saturn will determine how you learn from your mistake, take on hurdles, and how you plan on picking yourself up from life lessons learned. Saturn also represents pride!








Uranus symbolizes eccentricity, inventiveness, and independence. Your Uranus sign will determine how you handle unforeseeable change, new situations, how you handle disruptions, and how you plan on resolving those disruptions.







Neptune symbolizes imagination, inspiration, and mysticism. Neptune also represents all things unreal and incomprehensible. Your Neptune sign will determine how imaginative, selfless, generous, and gentle you are.






And last but definitely not least, Pluto. Pluto represents mystery and hidden sciences. Your Pluto sign will determine your deepest instincts, your obsessions, your anxieties, and your deep self-questionings.

Planets with a Personality! (Part 1/2)

Now it's time to get into the chart part of things. Aside form your sun sign(s), which is your main sign, we'll learn about the planets and what they mean. The planets also have a big influence on your personality.

Even though this isn't a planet, The Moon has an impact on your personality. This is the feminine part to your personality. The Moon represents your emotions and your sensitivity. Your Moon sign determines how you deal with your emotions and how you express your feelings.






                                 




Next in line is Mercury. Mercury symbolizes intellectual capacity, comprehension, learning abilities, and the thought process. This is also the planet of communication. Your Mercury sign determines all of the things listed above, along with how you communicate with others.







After Mercury comes Venus! Venus symbolizes love and beauty. Your Venus sign describes your romantic life, affections, and how you behave with romantic partners. Usually, when one's Moon sign is compatible with another's Moon sign, then the Venus signs will be compatible, while if The Moon signs aren't compatible, then neither is the Venus.





Mars symbolizes virility, action, violence, courage, and boldness. Your Mars sign will determine how you take in commands and how you act on them. This will give you more information on how you will come to grips with things and how you will overcome hurdles.

A Little More Information...(Last 4 signs)

Sagittarius- Ones born under Sagittarius are very optimistic and are always looking on the brighter, positive side of things, helping them in difficult situations. Most admire how straight-forward this sign is. If you want an honest opinion, you can always go to a Sag. Sagittarius-born are always enthusiastic looking for something new to learn! These people are very philosophical and know right from wrong. Sagittarius is very generous and large-hearted. They'll always go out of their way to help others in need to lead a comfortable life. A Sagittarius will NEVER shy away from anything! These adventurous souls are always up for anything. 
                   Though Sagittarius-born are very adventurous, they tend to take unnecessary risks and can be very careless and cause themselves, as well as others, to get into a lot of trouble. And everyone admires honesty, but sometimes Sagittarius can be a bit brutal or way too harsh, causing most to get hurt. Like Aries, Sagittarius is also very impatient, restless, and push things way too far. They're also superficial and pay way too much attention to outer beauty. Sagittarius-born can also be over confident and think they are perfect, but end up making many mistakes. This causes others to be annoyed. 

Capricorn- Capricorns are very ambitious and set big goals for themselves. These people are very wise and mature. They don't get too carried away with fantasy. Capricorns are very disciplined and patient. Once they've set a goal, they will act immediately to get it done, understanding that these things take time. Capricorns are also very cautious, knowing not to take risks that they could later regret. 
                   Even though Capricorns work hard to achieve their goals, they can be self-centered and brag about their accomplishments. Capricorns are also shy and detached. They don't really get close to others beyond a certain point. It's very rare for you to get into a Capricorn's personal life. Capricorns can also be very moody. Their mood swings often cause them to mess things up, especially friendships. Capricorns are also major pessimists. No matter how much they achieve, they always think they're "under-achievers" 

Aquarius- Aquarius-born are super friendly people, usually attracting people with their sense of great humor. Along with their friendly nature, they're humanitarians; always searching for a way to make the world a better place. Aquarius-born are very intelligent people and are always looking for intellectual stimulation. Because of their smarts, they're always thinking out of the box and creating new things. Inventive people, they are. If an Aquarius gives you their word, they will fulfill it. They're very loyal. These people are also independent and like going their own way instead of being with the crowd. 
                Aquarius-born are unpredictable and we'll never know what they're going to do next, whether it be good or bad. Even though they are good listeners, Aquarius can be stubborn and it can be hard to get them to change their way. These people can also be detached and aloof, being able to cut themselves from whoever they want whenever they want. 

Pisces- Pisces are very imaginative people always coming up with 'out of the box' type things. Pisces are very kind and sensitive, causing them to always be affectionate in gentle toward others. Their compassionate and selfless, always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. They can feel other's emotions and always understand another's struggles, causing them to be the best of help. Pisces are also intuitive. They rely on their intuition when making a decision. 
            Though Pisces are sensitive, they can be over-sensitive, taking everything to heart and become very emotional. Pisces can also be escapists, and always blaming their bad luck for everything that goes wrong instead of facing the problem head on. Pisces can be very lazy, especially to things that don't matter to them. They're very fussy about how things should be, being idealists and all. These fish can be pessimistic and weak-willed, causing things to hurt them easily, resulting in them giving up on things.  

A little More Information...(Next 4 Signs)

Leo- Leos are kind and big-hearted. Leos are very much admired for their kindness. Leos are very energetic and are always on the move. That helps spread positive vibes. Along with positive vibes, Leos are optimists. Leos don't get easily disappointed by setbacks. These people are always straightforward. Sugarcoating isn't their thing. Leos are also very loyal and trustworthy. 
         Leos are also very egotistical and think the world revolves around them. If they don't always get their way, they'll freak out. Leos are very arrogant and can be very self-centered. Sometimes, they tend to hurt others by being so concerned with themselves. They also always think that their "opinions" are always "right." Leos can be very dominating and always want to be in charge, which doesn't always go down well with everyone. They're also too impatient and tend to get worked up over nothing. 

Virgo- Virgos are very intelligent. Always reading books, you can ask them about anything and they'll know the answer. They are very practical and don't focus on "fantasy land." They focus on what's real. They're very thoughtful, though. Virgos are very reliable and trustworthy. They're always organized and always keep things in check. Virgos are very observant and notice every little detail. They are hard-working and always get things done, but they never boast about their accomplishments. 
             Virgos are overcritical. They always have a clear set up in their mind, but when things don't go as planned, they tend to be overcritical and lose thought in the process. Virgos are PERFECTIONISTS. Everything much be exactly how THEY WANT it to be! Virgos are also very fussy. Especially when things don't go their way, as said before. Virgos can also be very harsh and judgmental, causing them to scare away those who they've just met. 

Libra- Libras are very balanced and always choose the middle path to please everyone. They are experts are getting things done. Libras are very romantic and are driven by the feelings of love. Libras are very charming and know how to get anyone and everyone to like them. Aside being charming they're also very sweet. They're always fair and never use cunning methods to get what they want. Libras are great listeners and have a great deal of patience. 
           Libras are superficial. They can get too carried away with the beauty on the outside, that they never focus on how equally beautiful the inside can be. Libras also tend to be a bit detached. Libras are also unreliable. They are easily under the influence of others and are always changing their minds. Libras can also be very lazy at times.  

Scorpio- Scorpios are very focused. When a Scorpio is into something, nothing can stop them from finishing the goal. This sign, like Leo, is very brave. They're daredevils and will do just about anything. Like Libras, they're also very balanced. You can always trust a Scorpio with anything. They're trustworthy souls. Scorpios are also ambitious. Money, power, and position appeal to them. Scorpios always go with their gut and always make the decisions best for them and those around them. 
               Scorpios are very secretive. Getting them to open up is no easy task. It takes time, no matter how close you are to them. Scorpios are also very jealous and possessive. This often disturbs their relationships and affects their peace of mind. Scorpios are very sensitive and the smallest comment of negativity can hurt them. And when you hurt a Scorpio, they'll always want to get even with you. They revolve around revenge. Scorpios are also very manipulative. They always know how to get their way...

A Little More Information...(First 4 signs)

We've gone over the elements, the names of the signs, and the dates, but we have not yet gone over the individual characteristics of each sign! I will go over the good and the bad of each sign, and soon we will go over the Planet's symbols!

Aries- Aries are very excited and enthusiastic about everything! They are very good leaders and are very self-confident. This sign is definitely not shy! They are 100% adventurers! They are very positive and optimistic and can make any negative situation better! Aries are also very hardworking and very passionate about thing they're interested in. And they love trying out new things!
           Aries can also be very arrogant, though. They love to show off...a little too much. This sign is VERY stubborn and always want to be right, even if they know they're wrong!  They are also very impatient. Aries always do before thinking, causing them to get in a lot of trouble. They're also very confrontational. You definitely DON'T want to set them off. And last, they are VERY temperamental. The simplest thing can set them off in an instant!

Taurus- People who are born under the date of Taurus are very generous. They're always there to lend a helping hand to a friend or a family member. They're very dependable. Taurus is very patient, unlike Aries. These people are very independent and prefer to be strong when life throws them lemons. They are also persistent! Once they have their eyes on something, they will give it their all! Failure doesn't bother them much, either.
              Taurus is VERY stubborn. Sometimes they even refuse to listen in arguments. They're self-indulgent. They often think the world revolves around them, causing them to play little attention to other's emotions. These people can also be very lazy, especially when ordered to do something. They are materialistic and expect themselves to be exactly how society wants to see them. This sign is also very possessive, causing them to cost them genuine relationships.

Gemini- Geminis are born with brilliant communication skills! They are the communicators of the zodiac. They can hold a conversation for the longest and talk about anything. They give great advice and can persuade you to do anything. They have a great way of words. They are also VERY intellectual! They're very versatile. They are interested in learning about everything! And they do! They're very enthusiastic about most things and love trying new things. They're very adaptable  and can fit into any situation. Geminis are also very witty and humorous. Geminis can easily keep you entertained and involved for hours. 

               Geminis are very bipolar and very sensitive. Like Aries, the smallest thing can set them off. Geminis get easily bored, so it's hard for them to pay attention and stay on the same topic for a certain amount of time. Geminis also get very anxious very easily. Their anxiety usually causes them to stay up at night, along with all of the work they do. They're hardworking, but a little TOO hardworking. If you give them one project, they come back with six and tend to overwork themselves. Geminis are also very indecisive and can never make a decision just like that! Geminis have a hard time opening up to people, no matter how close. People born under this sign can also be too serious at times and forget how to have fun.

Cancer- Cancers are very creative people. They come up with brilliant ideas for novels or plays. This sign is very emotional and loving. They care very much for those they love and try to help anyone in need. Cancers are very protective, also. This sign is very dependable and always encouraging! Cancers are also honest. You can always rely on them to tell the truth. Maybe why they're so good at giving advice!

           Cancers are very moody. Their moods can change unpredictably out of nowhere, causing most to be overwhelmed. Cancers can also be overemotional, causing those around them to be quite annoyed. And though they do love the ones closest to them, they are quite clingy, causing relationships to be quite restraining. Cancers are also very pessimistic and get set down easily after failures.
